ASHBURTON' CLUB.
The annual meeting of the AshburtQn Golf Club was hold oh Monday evening, when Mr D. Wood presided. Th* balanoe-shect showed a credit balance of £45. Vho following officers wero elected:—President, Mr D. Wood; vice-presi dents, Messrs H. C. Or bell and B. Newton; captain, Mr IT. A. Boddington; secretary and treasurer, Mt C. Watergton; committee, Messrs V. P. Boot', H. H. Allan and W. Anderson; handicapper, Mr H. H. Allan; auditor, Mr J. Bathgate. Eleven now members -veze ©looted. Votes of thanks were pasesd to all thosn who donated prizes during the paafc eeasn, and to the retiring secretary, Mr A .11. Mejr&on, and the ladies who suppliod' the refreshments.
