Tho price has not been divulged, but it is believed to bo about 3s -Id per lb landed. Tho Bradford wool market is quiet and steady. Sugar is unchanged. Wheat—Fair trade in Australian parcels and cargoes, but little offering on spot. No imported flour was released this week. Oats—Weak. La Plata, spot, 59s 3d. Beans—Quiet and steady. Peas —Dull, tending to easier. There is a slump in tin, which is attributed to profit taxing, also to a strike in South Wales, which prejudicially affected the consumption. TALLOW. Tho Now Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., has receivod the following cablegram from London, under date March 3:— 1 Wo qnoto present spot values for the following descriptions of tallow:—Fine mutton £5 9s. good beef £5 Bs, mixod £4 18s 6d. The market is dull, nothing doing. Prices are unchanged.
