LONDON, March 4. Captain Shawo Taylor, Magistrate at AYhenry, 'in . Ccmnty Galway, was shot dead after many previous attempts at assassination. The military have canned out further extensive raids. In a daring hold-up of a train at Kincasslagh, County Donegal, armed masked men tied up the stationmaster and porters, and smashed the telegraph instruments. When tho train steamed in they boarded tho engine and searched the passengers’ luggage, apparently for arms. United Service. (Received March 9, 8.5 p.m.) Maroh 4. The Waterford Corporation, one dissenting, passed a resolution acknowledging Dail Eiraun as the duly authorised Irish Government, and promising to give effect to ail its decrees. Copies of the resolution wero sont to the republican Minister for Irish Affairs, who was asked to transmit them to the Governments of Europe and America.
