MARSHLAND-WAIREHAU CLUB. A. ro-ad race in connection with, the Marsh-kjKf-Mairoliau Cycling and Athletic Club was hold >« Saturday afternoon, tho course being twice round the Shirley Road, Marshland Rood, Hawke® Road and! Hill's Road block, a diatanoe of approximately sixteen nail os. Thirteen riders started, tho results being as follow:—Poter Hill, lmin 16sec (riding time S9min 4Gsec), 1; 11. Prebble, 2min (tOmin 31 sec), 2; Albert George, scr (38min 32seo), 3; E. King, Bmin (41inin 48sec), 4; Faulkner, 2min 3Gsec (42mm 21seo), 5; 11. Birch, lmin SOseo (39min 40sec), 0; W. HQI, Smin (41min Essec), 7; J Chamberlain. Smin. ICseg (42min 10 l-osec), 8. Mr P. C. Lucas was handioappor, Mr A. ©. L. Smith starter and Mr J. Voss timekeeper. The next race, which is to be ewer the same course, is to take placo on the Saturday before Eastex.
