"FORECAST FOR CANTERBURY. Moderate to fresh north-cast winds. Weather continue fair and warm. F. L. WOOLES. DOMINION METEOROLOGIST'S FORECAST. Present indications are for freshening southerly to easterly winds northward of Kawhia and East- Cape; southerly breezes, veering shortly to northerlios, elsowhere. Cloudy and unsettled conditions probable at times, and Tain in northern and southernmost "districts. Barometer unsteady, with a falling tendency, particularly in the far north.
