DUNEDIN SHOW.
[Per Press Association.] DUNEDIN, February 12. The second day of the Otego A. and P. Society's summer show waß held in good weather. The attendance is estimated at over 12,000, and the sum of £504 was taken at the gates. A feature of the proceedings was tho jumping competitions. For four events there were one hundred and eleven entries. The first prize for the leaping championship was £l2O, and in the hunting championship £SO. Entries were recoived from as far north as Dannevirke, and a large number from Canterbury and Southland. Tne results of the hunting competition were: Lady Riders—Mrs J. Miller's Lady Bell, 1; W. Hastie's Roderick Dhu, 2; Gordon Aitoheaon's Ladybird, 8. New Zealand Leaping Championship— Budge Gordon's (Dannevirke) Utility, 1; Bert Shaw's (Timaru) 'Frog, 2; W. F. Norths (Orawia, Southland) Sultana, 3. New Zealand Hunting Championship—Carlton Rain's (Waipahi, Southland), 1; Elaine, 2; Budge Cordon's Utility, 3. High Jump—W. Clyma's (Oaniaru) Happy Jack, 5f t lOiin, 1; "W. F. Norths, Sultana, sft 9in, 2; Gordon Aitcheson s Elaine, 3.
