HAWARDEN. There was a very satisfactory gale o,i Hawarden yesterday. The yarding of fat sheep and lambs totalled 3195. Freezer buyers operated freely, and fat lambs sold at 24a 2d to 32s j fat owes, 25s Cd to 83s, and wethers 29s lOd to 36s 6d. The entry of tores numbered 1500, mostly lambs. Extra good rape lambs made 24s 7d, others 18s 6d io 22s Id. Forward wethers sold u 27s to 80s 8d f GERALDINE. There was a good attendance at this week's sale, and the yarding inoluded about four thousand' sheep, for which prices were satisfactory. CLEARING SALE, The National Mortgage and Agency Company, Ltd., held a clearing sale at Mayfield on Wednesday on behalf of Mr H. Hydes. The principal sales were: —Cattle—Twentytwo head dairy cows from £l2 to £2l, Shorthorn bull £lO 10s. Pigs—Fats £5 10s, £4, £3 15s; stores 67s 6d, 57s 6d, 47s 6d; boar £2. Horses—Mare (7yrs) £36 10s, do. (Byrs) £23, gelding (aged) £lO. A Lister engine and separating plant, £BO. PROPERTY SALE. Mr W. E. Simes sold by auction yesterday a house of five rooms, with all conveniences, and 29 perches of land, at No», 83, Wilmer Street, for £550. The property was purchased by Messrs Johns and Walshaw. Mr Simes also sold lot 16, Pine Avenue, New Brighton, a quarter-acre, with one chain frontage, for £75, the purchaser being Mr A. M'Kinlay. There was a large attendance of buyers at P. S. Nicholls and Co.'s rooms on Wednesday evening, when some fifty sections at North New Brighton were offered at auction. Following are prices:—Shop sites, Bowhill. Road, £IOO and £155 each; Blanwood seclions, from £IOO to £ll6 each; Rayburn sections, £llO to £115; Ascot sections. £47 10s tp,£Bs; Pinewood sections, £SO to £IOO each.
