The centre of a storm passed through Cools Strait on Saturday evening, and the atmo.epherio pressure has since steadily increased, . with_ strong southerly breezes. The weather ,haa improved in ell parts of the country. [Present indications bjo for variable breezea, fresheniiig, east to north prevailing, particularly in northern districts. Weather fair to cloudy, but unsettled at times in the northern and southernmost districts. The barometer shows little movement,, at present, but will probably fall in about twenty-four hours.
