FOUND DROWNED. [Pan Press Association.) AUCKLAND, December 23. A man named George Fleming (or Mason) was found drowned at Tuakau. YOUNG WOMAN’S DEATH. WELLINGTON, December 23. The body of Miss Hilda Ratlibone, aged twenty-six years, was found in the Hutt River this morning. She was last Eeen alive at 11.30 p.m. on Sunday. She had been in ill-health for three years. Her parents, who predeceased her, were well-known stationholders in Hawke’s Bay. Later. At the inquest on Hilda Rathhono, whose body was discovered in the liutt River, a verdict was returned of “ found drowned.” <
DEATH FROM HEART FAILURE. DUNEDIN, December 22. Last night the proprietor of she Commercial Hotel, Green Island, noticed a man lying in the roadway noar his premises. Investigation proved that he was an iron mills employee named Alexander Crawford, and as ho seemed to be in a bad way he was carried into the hotel and a doctor was sent for. Before the doctor could arrive, however, the man had died. An inquest was held to-day, when a verdict was returned that death was due to heart failure.
