A. AND P. ASSOCIATIONS.
AMURI. A meeting of fho committee of tie Amuri A- and P. Association was held on Saturday night; present—Messrs P. R. Dunbar (president), Banks. Burbury, Bean, Baker, Crampton, C. Higgins, Knight, Macfarlane, R. M’Kie, Watson and the secretary. Advice was received from the secretary of the Amuri Saleyards Company that itß annual ewe fair would be held on March 18. As » number of intending exhibitors at the Amuri Show would be busy mustering in view of the ewe fair, it was resolved that, provided it did not clash with my other fixture, the date of the show -hould be altered from March 16 to March 30. The programme of school work for insertion in the schedule was adopted as suggested by the teachers from the schools in the Amuri County. The schedule for cookery, home industries and flowers was adopted as revised by the ladies’ committee. Additional competitions were inserted as follow:—Best walking draught horse, polo and stockmen’s competition, and motor-driv-ing competition. In accordance with notice, Mr R. M’Kie moved that the regulation that the same sheep shall not oompete in more than one class bo rescinded. This was seconded by Mr Burbury and carried.
