The annual general meeting of the New Zealand shareholders in the Now Zealand Shipping Company, Ltd., was held in Christchurch on December 9, when the retiring directors, Messrs A. E. G. Rhodes, John Anderson and A. W. Bennett, were re-elected and Messrs _ Walter J. Mooro and Walter M. Ollivier were re-elected auditors for the ensuing year. At a meeting of directors held immediately after the annual meeting, Mr A. E. G\ Rhodes was elected chairman of directors.
