Four members were reported on tho sick list, and sick pay duo to thorn was passed for payment. Advice was received that tho Expeditionary i'orco members levy, which was paid during the war period, will not be charged in the h hue and it was tho opinion of members present that this will havo tho effect of prok u ;..‘;s members. On tho motion of rm roth f r W ‘ R-'Gahayon, it was resolved-- I hat tho action of the N.G in postponing the ladies’ night until next lodge ni‘jht bo approved.” Tho lodjje celebrated its tliii ty-seventli anniversary with a. very sueccssful euchro party and dance, which was held in the Sehvyn Street Hull. Mrs Curran won the ladies’ orize. and P.P.G.M. Brother J, Gough won the gentleman’s prize. Tho Grand Master of New Zealand,. Brother Watt, atteudod, and the district was represented by tho D.G.M., Brother Longuot, Brother TV. Johnson, district secretary, treu-suri-r, and members of tho Management Committeo. Representatives were also proseat Irani the following lodges Sister Pearce, City of Christchurch. Benevolent, Papanui, Pliillipstown, Ricoarton, Voluulcer. Kaiapoi, Ashburton, Pcrseveranco,. Waimairi. After tho euchre a very successful dance was held. Mr Reg Woods supplied tho music, and Brother H. W. Gourlay acted as M.C.
