PLUNKET FETE.

The baby show in connection with the Plunket Fete will take place in tho Colosseum instead of in a competition tent, as .lias been usual hitherto. The baby show promises to be the most attractive event of its kind ever held in Christchurch. Competitions have been arranged for six classes, as follows:—Best baby girl,, six months and under; boy. six months ssid under; girl or boy, qver six months and up to one year; girl or boy; over one year and up,to two years; girl or boy, over two years and up to three years; twins, six months or under; twins, over six months and up to three years; besC baby in tl i >.<how- There will be two piizes in taeh class, and a special cno for the best baby in the show. . Tho voting will bo by public opinion. Entries wi'l close with Mr G. L. Donaldson at the Art Gallery on Wednesday, October 8, at 5 p.m. All information is obtainable from Mr F. ,CRaphael, the honorary organiser.
