FOOTBALL.

CHRIST'S COLLEGE t. BOYS' HIGH SCHOOL. The annual meeting of the Boys’ High School and Christ's College first fifteens will take place at tho Show Grounds to-morrow aftornoon. This match is probably tho most popular fixture of the year with Rugby enthusiasts, on account of the first-class display of football that is invariably seen. To-rnor-row’a game should bo no exception to the rule, as the two teams aro very evenly matched, and spectacular play can bo counted on. The match will bo played on tho oval, in front of the large grandstand, which is capable of holding two thousand spectators. Tho gates will bo open at 1.30 o'clock, and the game will commence at 2.45 o’clock. THE SCHOOL TEAM. The following team has been selected to represent tho High School in the match against Christ’s- College to-morrov/Full-back, F. .T. Jacobs (lOst 12Jlb); threequarters, C. G. Crawford (9st 10lb), D. Dickson (12st 7lb), Ford (lOst, Stlb); fiveeighths, S. It. Carloton- (Ost 4lb), W. Dailey (9st Alb); half, M. L. Pago (Bst 8lb); hookers, Alley (list 101 b), —l’arnham (lOst-Glb); lock, K. Sands (l'2st 5lb); wing, J. Mortlock (lOst); scrum, B. Davcv (list 31b), It. Robortson (list 51b), L. D. Page (lOst Gib), F. W. Petre (lOst 71b.) The average weights *ra: Forwards, list; backs, lOst lib. WAIHORA CLHB. A football match was played by tils Waihora Club against Lincoln on the formor’s grounds last Saturday. There v/ns o satisfactory attendance of spectators, and after a moat enjoyable game the home team won by a fair margin. The ladies of the district kindly supplied afternoon tea. Mr J. Rennie was referee. Next Saturday a match will bo played against Probbleton, on their grounds. Tho following have been selected to play:—W. Cant, I. Gebbie,' W. Thomas, C. Mailer, L. Harris, G. Wheeler. L. Coop, J. Miller, 11. Jackson, F. BrittlifF, B. Bowley, A. Streeter, E. Hodgin, B. Wheeler and H. Thomas; emergencies—T. Wheeler and W. Joblin.
