At an inquest concerning tho death of Cecil Fortescue, who died as the result of injuries sustained through falling from a tram car, tho Coroner said that these accidents showed the necessity for strictly enforcing tho regulations prohibiting people from standing on tho platforms of the cars. This was tho third recent inquest ho had held of a similar nature. It would bo well if conductors insisted strictly on the regulations. in order to prevent accidents. A verdict of death by a fall from a tram car was returned.
