In the King's Cup heats the first Australian eight beat the •second Australian eight by three-quarters of a length. Time—7min Slseo. The Leander Cup heat was awarded to New Zealand, the Australian crew being disqualified for fouling. In the Kingswood Sculls heats, D. Hadfleld (New Zealand) beat Patison. In the King's Cup, for eight-oar crews, America beat France. In the single sculls Hadfield (New Zealand) easily beat Pattinson (Cambridge). Cambridge beat New Zealand.
