The Baden Powell was last night expected to sail from Wellington for New Plymouth. The Canopus was yesterday still bold up at Timaru through bad weather. It is therefore more than likely that she will notaxriv© horo until the middle of next week from Westport, to which port she goes first. The Mana, from Wellington, is due here to-day. Ob completing her. loading-she will proceed to Wanganui. . The coastal steamer Tainui should reach Lyttelton to-day from Wellington. After loading she will leave for the same pott. Tho Storm, from Timaru, arrived in port about 11 a.m. yesterday, and is expected to sail to-day for Wanganui direct. The Wootton, which arrived in Lyttelton on Thursday night, \vill bo' dispatched for Wellington--to-day. ' .. From Lyttelton she will proceed to Napier. The lonio, which left Wellington on May 81 for London, arrived at Colon on June 23. The John.lis expected to leave 'Lyttelton for Oa-iiarutbn Monday. The OrepuLi's sailing for Greymouth was postponed from day to day owing to wet weather interfering with her loading operations, but she got away last evening for Gffoymouth. Tho Waitomo. from Calcutta, via, Auckland and Wellington .arrived in port yesterday with 1111 tons of Eastern cargo, whioh in-, eluded 200 tons of pig iron, 1691 bales gunnies, 275 bales hide cuttings, 100 boles kanoc, etc. After discharging sho will proceed to Dunedin. The departure of the Tofua from Wellington for San Francisco has been delayed until Monday. Tho City of Dunkirk managed to discharge tho remainder of her Lyttelton cargo yesterday and sailed for Port Chalmers during the evening. i The Westmoreland was expeoted f to be taken out of tho Dunedin dock yesterday to await instructions from Home as to further procedure. The Woipori is to load at Newcastle for Auckland. The Otira. was to leave, Wellington yesterday for Newcastle, Brisbane and Sydney. . Tho Kent (9357 tons), which left New York on May 20, for Sydney and Wellintgon, was duo at Sydney on Sunday last. Sho will resumo her voyage, for Wellington, shortly. Tho F. and S. liner Shropshire was floated out of the Cockatoo dock at Sydney on June 24, after undergoing repairs prior to making her departure for Brisbane and New Zealand ports. Advice has been received that the Kaituna left Newcastle yesterday with a load of coal for Wellington. The John Craig is on her way across theTasman Sea with a load of Newcastle coal for Wanganui.
