MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING.
RANGIORA DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB. The Rangiora Defence Miniature Rifle Club oommenced the season for 1919 last evening! by a friendly match with a combined team of iadios and gentlemen from the Softon club. The match resulted in a win for the former by three points. The following were the highost scorers:— Rangiora—W. Butters, T. Thompson, H. Freeman and A. Cambridge, each -70 points; C. Butters, N. Pavitt, E. Rowe, W. S. Shil« ton, D. Jhehrtens and W. Turner, each 63 points: C. Humphreys, G. Milne, W. Hamilton, J. Arnott and A. Ashworth, each 63 points; R. Foubister, 67 points. Sefton— J. Henry, R. Johnstone, J. W. Livingstone and G. Brown, each 70 ipointsj A. Johnstone, Mrs A. Johnstone, S. Ritchie, L. Sullivan and F. W. M’Gower, each ■69 points; Miss Wilson, P. Topp, D. Binme, J, Quick -and A. Topp, each 63 points; A* Reeves and Miss Petrie, each 67 points.
