NATIONAL BANE’S NEW ISSUE. The new share issue of the National Bank of New Zealand has been temporarily suspended, the postponement being due to the request of the Imperial Treasury that the issue should be referred to the Bank Amalgamation Committee in London. The chairman of that oommittea is in France, and the general manager in New Zealand has been advised that he will not return to London until after Easter, so that the matter will not bo considered by the committee until next week at the earliest. All the legal requirements in connection with the issue have been complied with and it is stated that the consideration of the bank’s application by the Amalgamation Committee will be only a formal matter.
