Rubber—Para 23}d, plantation 24 id. stri ked 27id per lb. The hemp market {3 inactive. New Zealand is at a high point, fair April-June shipments be-ing quoted at £SO per ton, WOOL MARKET. Tho wool sales closed with prices at tho highest point of the series. Finest comebacks were 15 to 20 ner cent above schedule rates, shafty morinoes 16 par cant, faulty 71 p o r cent, and medium coarse 5 per cent above schedule. There has been an excellent demand for everything, the market exhibiting a cheerful tone. Practically ail offerings were oloared.
