- FOUND HANGED. [Pzi» Prms Association.] WELLINGTON, November 15. C. F. N. Minifie, aged thirty-eight., a soldier in Trentham camp, hanged himself in the bush. He had been suffering from mental depression and was under medical treatment. He left a note stating that he regretted his conduct, but it was too late now. Ho leaves a. wife and child in Timaru. INQUEST AT PORT LEVY. An inquest was held at Port Levy on Thursday afternoon, before Mr J. E. Fleming", J.P., and a jury, on the body of Lizzie .Roberts, a two-year-old Native cllild who died on Wednesday. After the evidence of the parents had been taken, the Coroner gave a verdict that death was due to influenza contracted after a severe attack of croup.
