INFECTIOUS DISEASE STATISTICS. The monthly return of the number ot cases of infectious diseases m the Canterbury and West Coast Health .District shows that there has been a considerable decrease in the cases of scarlet fever and diphtheria recorded. In the case of tuberculosis the returns show an increase of twenty-one. The cases of diphtheria, scarlet fever and tuberculosis recorded were:— (
