Fat Cattle—lßß were yarded- Quality on the whole was good and competition was keen ut prices equal to lato rates. Extra prim* heavy bullocks £26 to £29 15s, prime £23 10s to £25 10s, medium £2O to £32 10s, light and unfinished £lO 10s to £l9, prime heifers £lB to £l9 10s, medium £l6 to £l7 10s, light and aged £ll 10s lo £l4. -Sheep—263s were penned. Quality in most cases was very good, hut the entry exceeded the demand. The sale dragged throughout, prices declining 2s to 2s 6cl for primo and more for light dnd unfinished. Several were passed in. Lambs—33 were penned, realising 2Ss to 35s 3d. PROPERTY SALES. Messrs Jones, M’Crostio Co., Ltd., report having offered at auction at their rooms last evening thirty sections, averaging one-eighth acre, comprising tho B’anwood Estate, North New Brighton, situated about a mile and a half from the tramway line. There was a good attendance and bidding \va3 brisk, twenty sections being disposed of to various purchasers at prices' ranging from £2O to £27.
Messrs Jones, M’Crostie Company, Ltd., roport having sold by public auction vasterday a five-seater Studebaker motor-car for £253.
