The London Missionary Society deputation this year to the Congregational churches promises to be of special interest. The speakers are the Rev H. W. Whyte, 8.A., of Qooty, South India, and Miss K. W. L. Keen, of TingohowfUj China. Mr Whyte went to the mission field as a representative of Australia and has laboured for nearly ten years in the south of India. He received his education at tho Sydney University and Camden Theological College, Sydney. He is the son of the Rev C. Whyte, M.A., minister in charge of Bourke Street Congregational Church, Sydney. Ho was appointed in 1908 to Vizagapatam and transferred to Gooty in 1910. Miss Keen is a member of the Congregational Church at Blnckheath, England. She was appointed to tho London Missionary Societv's staff in 1913 and took up work in Tinechowfu in the same year. Both missionaries are on furlough, and after their colonial tour will leave for their respective fields. Their programme for this citv opens to-morrow evening in Trinity Church, and will take the form of a welcome meeting. Miss Keen will address a meeting for women on Friday afternoon at 2-80 in Trinity Church.
