[Per Press Association.] PALMERSTON NORTH, August 80. Over £IOOO was raised by a Red Cross tournament on the' Palmerston links. In tha semi-finals of the championship G. Richmond (Miiratuar) beat A. Barraud (Manawatu), 3 and 1 to play; Im’oy Saunders (Wanganui) beat J. Harold (Wanganui), 1 up. In the final Richmond beat Saunders 5 up and 4 to play. Tho best rcoro of the tournament was that of I. Saunders, 74.
