TRAMWAY COPPER TRAIL.
BUFF TICKET IN THE IEAD. At noon yesterday the positions of the various competing districts in the Tramway Copper Trail were as follow: I—Buff ticket: Sumner, Lyttelton, Hoathcote, Woolston. 2—Green ticket: Spreydon Riccarton, Lincoln Road, Coronation Street. 3—White ticket: Marshland, Cranford Street, Edgeware Road. •I—Pink ticket: Ooawa, St Martins, Cashmere, Sydenham. (s—Yellow ticket: Fendalton, Papanui. 6—Blue ticket: North and South Brighton, Dallington, Bromley and ijinwood. A meeting -was held at the Druids' Hall, Fowke Street, Richmond, on Wednesday evening, for the purpose of forming a Tramway Copper Trail Branch for the Richmond district. After Messrs A. C Maxwell and A. S. Clarkson had explained tho objects and working of tho scheme, a committee was formed, consisting of Messrs S. Gelling, E. Bedwell, J. Cusack, P. A. Aldersley, H. Kay, J. Kearney, A. Macgrcgor, C. Shaw, P. R. Smith, R. S. Ward, J. Pitcher and E. .Bedwell (honorary secretary). Mr Gelling was appointed chairman, Mr Bedwell honorary secretary, Mr Cusack honorary trea>surer, and Mr Pitcher delegate to the central body.
