MILITARY SERVICE.
FIRST CANTERBURY BOARD AT CHRISTCHTJRCH. The First Canterbury Military Service Board sat at Christchurch yesterday; present—Messrs J. S. Evans (chairman), J. IX Million and H. E. Robbius.
The following cases were adjourned:—September—P. Bell (Bioadfields); October—G. R. Backer (Leeston); November —W. J. O'Neill (Lincoln); January— R. B. Pelvin (Annat), Thomas Fenwick (Balmoral); February—H. Bratlsy (Kimberley) and E. Hall iSouthbridge); April—A. G. Lilley (Southbridge). The following cases wer, adjourned sine die: —L. E Cooper (Southbrid 6 e); John Henneasv (Darfiekl), A. C. Greenwood (Southbridge), AV. W. Mulholland (Darficld), E. A. Adams (Te Pirita), until &Ler shearing; K. W. Dickey (Gloiuunnel), J. T. Tcdd (Whitecliffs), Benjamin Dyer (Glentunnol), G. A. Powell (Waddington), John Gunn (Racecourse Hill), fl. T. Fussell (Leeston), H. B. Hubbard .Riccarlon), R. J. M'Olelland (Southbridge), H. G. Wells (Greendale), W. Lo Cornte (Irwell), until after harvest; Joseph Brooks (Irwcll). Tho following case was adjourned for medioal ' examination:—! W. Maffey (Little River).
