Replying to a question about a rumoured rise of £2 per ton in the price of flour, the Hon W. D. S. MacPonaJd said that the report was unfounded. Millers had agreed witK the Board of Trade not to apply for an increase of the price of £ls 10s at southern ports until February 1, 1919, so long as wheat remained at the present gazetted price. The Australian wheat now being imported did not affect the price of flour, as it was being sold to millers at the same price as New Zealand-grown wheat. ' . i
