SYDNEY, August 13

Tho scow Cathkit reports an exciting sixty-tin ee days' voyage.from New Zealand. Sho sailed on June 10 with a cargo of timber. Terrific storms and galea were encountered, and huge seas continually swopt tho vessel, badly straining tha ship and moving the oargo. The pumps were worked incessantly. At one time tho vessel was right off her course, five hundred miles east of Norfolk Island. Another night during the galo sin struck a. submerged object with terrific force, but was unable to ascertain the cause. Oil bags, wore used with good results.
