l>r Louisson reported regarding negotiations for procuring a new motor r ambulances ■> Ho ■ said that when .tho par. was 1 completed tile total cost wottld be about £480,-and that the money hn hand'for the' purchase was within £2O of the amount solved that the arrangements provisionally made by Dr Louisson should be endorsed and that instructions be given for the completion of the pur-e-base, the details to bo left to the committee,; * The financial statement showed that •the credit balance on May 8 was :£4BB 10s Bd,-.and. that since that date £2B 10s 6d had been received, making- a total of £517 Is 3d- - The expenditure amounted to £270 3s 4d, including £250 placed.on deposit in the Savings Bonk, leaving a credit balance at tho bank of £246 17s lid: Tho credit 'at the Post Office Savings Bank (general fund) was £368 7a sa, and tho mo for ambulance fund £465 18s 9d, making a total of £lOBl 4s Id. : A letter was received from the Christchurch Training Collego asking if arrangements could be made for a courso of .lectures for the benefit of students, beginning in July. It was resolvec 1 to comply with the request if tho ser. vices of a medical man could be. obtained.
