THE TOTAL TO DATE. During May 43 returned officers werd gazetted out, 1*227 n.c.o.'s and men were discharged, and 75 (all ranks) returned to duty. Tho total number of returned soldiers (including officers) at May 31 .wan 21,262, comprising 19,556 of the Main Body and reinforcements, and 1706 Samoari. The details are:—
