SUMNER t. KAIAPOL On Saturday a team from the Kaiapcl Club ‘ visited the Sumner green, and wore defeated by the Sumner Club by six games! Following are the results, Sumner playeu being mentioned first: Doubles—Mrs J. M B. Crawford and Mrs E. A. Johnson beat Mrs Leithead and Miss Hiatt, 36-12; Miss Bain and Mrs Wilson Vsr to Mrs Butcher and Miss Lynskey, 16-26; Mrs F. Maddison and Mrs-Brown defeated Mrs Lynskey and Mrs Croft, 26-6: Misa Pender and' Miss Van Asch lost to Mrs F. Parnham and Mrs W. Parnham, 20-26. Singles—Mrs E. A Johnson defeated Mira Leithead 26-11: Mrs J. M. B. Crawford beat Miss Hiatt, 26-8; Miss Bain beat Mrs Butoher, 26-14; Mrs I.'Wilson lost to Misa Lynskey, 12-26: Mrs F. Maddison beat Mrs Lynskey, 26-17; Mrs Brown beat Mrs F. Parnham, 526-10; Miss Pender beat Mrs W, Parnham, 26-11; Miss Van Asch beat Mrt Croft, 26-17. i Total—-Sumner 9 games, Kaiapor 3.
