ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.

A mini named Moses Hawkins, residing at Spreydon, was admitted to the Hospital on Saturday morning suite ring from a broken nose and injuries to the head. Hawkins was employed at the works of A. S. Paterson, Moorhouse Avenue, and was oiling some machinery when ho slipped and fell a distance of ten or twelve feet. A man named Hartley, a resident, or Belfast, was thrown out of a gig while driving on the North Bond on Saturday night "sustaining cuts about the head. llis injuries wore attended to by Dr Crawshaw, and he was tncn able to proceed to his home.

[From Our Correspondent.] KAIKOUR A, February 2. Mrs M'Gregor (relict of the late Rev AY. M’Gregor) met with an accident when alighting from a vehicle, resulting in the fracture of her left thigh. She was conveyed to the local hospital.
