WELLINGTON, January 31

The Director of Munitions in Melbourne some months ago prohibited tho exportation of white lead. The Hon A. Mi Myers stated to-day that he had received ' a communication intimating that because of certain new arrangements made it would not now be necessary for firms ordering linseed oil and white lead from Australia to apply for •priority permits.
