GIRLS WHO GROW LISTLESS. A girl can grow too quickly. In her ’teens she should be passing smoothly from girlhood to womanhood- She needs all her blood for development. One mother up north had a daughter of fourteen, whom everybody turned to look at. She was tall, straight and beautiful. All the neighbours praised her good looks and charming ways. But at home, where there was only her mother .to see, she was pettish, excitable and restless. She could not sit still. She had a poor appetite —except for sweets. Instead of being happy to lend a hand in the house, she was languid and tired, trailing upstairs with a hand on her back. Her cheeks and her lips were pale, and she was out.of breath after the least climb. Soon there began to be days when she could not get up. Someone said to her mother, “ That girl is anaemic. She is making bone instead of blood. If you let her go on, you will have an invalid on your hands. Give her Dr Williams’ Pink Pills; they have saved many a girl in that state.” The mother took the hint and in a little while she had her reward—a healthy daughter, who was a promising .woman. Take the hint yourself and begin Dr Williams’ Pink Pills to-day-A useful booklet on “ Disea.ses of the Blood ” will be sent on application to Dr Williams’ Medicine Co., Box 845, G.P.0., Wellington. It tells women of all ages how to he well.' 1898

“ASK LOASBY ABOUT IT.” + Keep well! Pure blood is the basis of all health and energy. When the blood is poor or,, impure, 'the whole of the human economy is upset. Remember, the blood has to nourish the system. Hundreds of my patients, especially ladies, come for something for indigestion or nervousness. They have treated themselves for different troubles and, failing to get relief, have come to " ask Loasby about it ” and been surprised how soon they have recovered. The reason is this, they have only treated symptoms and have not tackled the cause of their troubles. Loasby’s lyag experience as a Prescribing Chemist ensures patients being properly treated with suitable remedies. I have cured thousands of cases in Christchurch alone, and I prescribe for people in all parts of New Zealand who write me fully ah ut their troubles. Will you let Loasby help you? A. M. LOASBY (With W. F. M'ARTHUR), The Only Prescribing Chemil t, 679, Colombo Street, Christchurch. 1
