TO-MORROW'S DEPUTATION. A representative deputation will wait on Sir Joseph Ward, Minister of Finance, at tho Chamber of Commerce hall, to-morrow morning, at eleven o'clock, to ask for his support in the endeavours to have the evening train between Lytteltou and Christchurch reinstated.

Besides the district members of Parliament and tho leading men of Christchurch, the mayors of the various borouejis, the chairman of county councils and the members of borough and co'unty councils and other public bodies in Canterbury have been invited to be present, and'a largo attendance of the general public is also expected. Interesting speeches are anticipated when the resolutions agreed to unanimously at the public meeting on Saturday evening are presented to Sir Joseph.
