» CHRISTCHURCH. Mr T. A. B. Bailey, S.M., presided at the Magistrate's Court yesterday., William Alexander Poison (Mr White) sued G. F. Stacey for the sum of £1 Is 4d. The claim was in respect to wallpaper supplied by Poison; Defendant stated that the price of the paper should really have been charged to a man named Mutton, a contractor, who had given Stacey permission to select his own paper. Judgment was given for Poison, and Stacey was advised to recover the amount from Mutton. _ • In the following undefended cases judgment was gjven for plaintiff by default:—J. Patterson v. W. Chaney, £2 7s 6d; Grahanj, Wilson and Smollie v. Henry James Pritchard, £5 10s Id; T. and S. Morrin v. W. L. Fowler, £ls; J. S. Hawkes, Ltd.. v. J. Wallace, £l6 10s 9d; W. A. Poison tv; J; Wigg, £2 13s 4d; Mary Hiddlcstone v. James Stewart, £6B; same v. Joseph Wilson, £5 10s.
