CHRIST'S COLLEGE BEAT BOYS' HIGH SCHOOL. _____ JtSKiv' An athletic mooting of unusual interest took place yesterday en the j Christ's Colkiao ground, whore reprc-'i sentatives of tho Boys' High School and Christ's Co11ce« mot in a series of events for si trial of strength between tho school*. Tho tho first of the kind, and it had boon promoted ns the result of tho recent school sports. A (strong nor'-wester blew down the ground, improving tho shorter times considerably on the previous figures. Two boys from each school competed in each event. Undoubtedly Christ's College were a much stronger team, and even if Reese had not fallen in the hurdles he could hardly havo beaten Boulnois's time. The chief disappointment for Boys' High School was the complete failure of "M'Millan to reproduce last week's form in the high jump, which ho had won at sft OJin. and tta event went to Cow&haw at 4fb lOin, which was equalled by Tapley in the trial for second place. Donnelly (H.S.) . . ,3 L. D. Pago (H.S.) also started. Tothill mode the pace for half a mile, followed by Boulnois, Allen and Donnelly. Then Boulnois changed places with the leader for the next lap. At the commenccme'it cf tha last quarter-mile, Donnelly challenged Boulnois for <he lead, but had to fall into second place. Here he collided with Tctbill and Donnelly fell.
