Knight (Christchurch) gift, of Bheep value S2, and (per Matson and Col £9 12s Gd- from Messrs J. Joblin, Coop, J. White. J. Coop, J. M Queen, T. Maffey and R. Dyer. Monthly subscriptions for September have been sent in by Mesdames Whatman, Gilbert, J. Joblin and Newton, also £1 7s Gd from the Puaha School children (per Mrs Patten) and 3s from the Pino Children for local soldiers epeoinl comforts.
