SMALL TAELE OWNERS' TOURNAMENT.
The Becoud round of tho small table owners' tournamont was concluded in Mossrs Alcock and Co.'s showrooms on Wednesday night. Tho game D. Marquet- (owo 20) v. " Billiards" (owe 20) was rather one-side;?!, Marquet appearing una/ble to settle down to his dsual game. " Billiards " was very consistent, and made breaks of 27, 28, 19, 18, 13 and 28 unfinished, and scored his 250 points when Jlarquet's score was only 137. Marouot's beet b'esks wero 21 and 17. The game G. Exton (owe 50) v. S. Branch (scr) was very evenly contested- and Exton with bjs big handicap, had a rather cl.uicult task to beat his opponenr. He managejd to run to his 250 points when Branch, was 223. Exton's best breaks wero 18, IS, 14. 13 and several of 12. Branch's best breaks were 25, 14, 12. NEXT WEEK'S GAMES.
