At the Congress of the South African Party, tho Hon F. S. Malan, Minister of Education, emphasised the danger of republican propaganda which, he said, would probably lead to civil war. Referring to the attitude of the Nationalists' anti-war party, he said that there could be no rapprochement between them and bis party while the war lasted.
