TEMUKA. There was a good attendance of farmers ar, the Tenvuka stock aalo on Tuesday. There was a fair entry of fat Bboep, and iho following rales were made: —Fat owes — 33 from 25s Gd to 30s, 65 at 34s 7d, 30 from 34s fid to Sts 9d, 20 two-tooth at 33s 6d, 20 at 38s 9d; fat wethers—23 at, 28s, 37 from 29s 9d to 38s 3d, 77 alt 335, 26 hoggets at 25s Bd.

There was a fair entry of cattle. Fat cows made from £8 las to £l2 17e 6d, four guaranteed empty at, £l4 2s Gd; fat heifers from £3 10s to £U 2s fid; fa* steers from £3 8s io £9 7s!; dairy cows £3 2s 6d; dry cow? £6 10s; cow in calf £8 2s; springing heifers from £6 17s to £8 12s 6d; calves £3 Us, storo steers £7 Ss, yearlings £3 loe. There was a good entry of pigs. Weancrs sold from 21s fo 3Se fid, porker* from 40s to 595, fat piga £5 17s fid.

DUNEDIN, July 11. Fat Cattle—99 wers pinned. Owing to th» Bina.l cam' pricey advanced 40s to 60s. Extra prime bullocks £25, prime £22 10s, medium £ls 10? to £lB, light, £l2 10s to' £l4, extra prime covrs £23 2s 6d, prime £lB 2s 6d, medium £l2 10s to £l4, light £8 10s to £lO. Fat. Sheep—2296 were penned, including a number of very prime. Competition for good quality vrps very keen, freezing buyers operating throughout. At tho opening prices declined Is to Is fid, but towards the ond of ‘ho sale good quality realised lato rates. Extra prime wethers 53s 9d, prime 48s to 50s, medium 36s to 33s 6d, extra, prime owes_ 53a 3d, primo 45s 3d, medium 303 to 365, ligh .riis 'lo 38k. Lambs —600 were penned. Extra heavy 43s 3d, prime 34n to 3Gs, medium 263 to 2Ss, light 23s fid to 255. 1 Pigi—A small yarding. Choppers, good sorts, 102 s, baconers 40s uo 70s, light baconers 67s fid, porkers GOs.
