MOTORING.

PIONEER CLUB. The Motor Committee of tho Pioneer Amateur and Sport Club mot last night in the! rooms; present—Messrs W. Minson (in llie: chair), A. J. Harper, E. F. C. Hinds, G, B. Brown and P. R. Hannan. The secretary stated that it would bo necessary to decide upon tho conditions for tho Cecil Bonnington Silver Cup. The donor had expressed tho hope that the cup would bo a challenge trophy, to bo held by the club, and that it would be given for most points in motor-cycling events, points given for trials to count more than points for beach races. In a discussion of conditions it was stated that the season would open on August 1. It was agreed that for races tho cup points should be 4,2 and 1, and for all road trials fl, 4 and 2, unless otherwise specified, and that in the event of a tie the names should be bracketed. It. was also decided to present a modal valued at £3 8s to each holder of tho ■ cup.
