Daniel Rafferty, a single man, thirtyfour years of age, was drowned while bathing in the Mnnawatu River at Moutoa yesterday morning. The police recovered. the body during the afternoon. 'At an inquest this morning a verdict was returned of accidentally drowned. Deceased came froni Melbourne, and was employed at the Whitanau fox mill.
