"LYTTELTON TIMES" SICK FUND SOCIETY.

ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the " Lyttelton Times " Sick Fund Society was held in the Gloucester Chambers on Saturday evening, Mr A. Dickson, the president, being in the chair. The election of officers resulted as follows: —Patron, Mr F. E. Hyman; president, Mr P. Dickson; vice-presidents, Messrs A. L. Jones. S. East and A. E. Snowball; treasurer, Mr F. E. Hyman; secretary, Mr J. Jackman; librarian, Mr A. E. Snowball; committee, Messrs A. Foster, A. Burrowes, T. Newton, W. G. Atack, D. M'Lennan, A. Dickson, W. Beynon, T. Broadbelt, J. W. Tulley, T. A. Stringer, G. Ardley. C. Kidcley. H. O. Whiimore. C. A. Comcrford, j. Yincent and A. W. Woodward. A motion by Mr J. J. Pollard, altering the system of electing the library committee attached to the society, was considered, and, oil an amendment, was deferred for six months.

A proposnl that bho society should provide a bed for members at the General Hospital was left in tho hands of the incoming committee. Votes of thanks wore passed to the retiring officers, the auditors and tho ehriirman.
