Paul's and Mr A. Walker's action in Attaching their names to the manifesto sent to Australia. A condemnatory motion was submitted, nnd an amendment Ito the effect that organised Labour in Otago has offered no opinion on the matter of conscription was proposed. The,voting being equal, on the vote of the chairman the amendment was negatived and by tacit consent the council yroceedftd to* the next business.
