AURORA'S OFFICERS.

[Peji Pjvess Association.] DUNEDIN, November 24. Mr F. J. Gillies and Mr C. P. De La, Mottce, who have bean appointed chief engineer and chief officer respectively of the Aurora, arrived by the Paloona. Both served on the Aurora throughout the -whole period of the Australasian Antarctic Expedition, 1911-14, under Sir Douglas Mawson, and have been

lent to the Aurora Relief Expedition from tho Australian transport service. Mr T. M. Ryan luus been appointed ■wireless officer, and the Commonwealth is also lending other officers, who will join the shin shortly. The balance of the officers and crew will be obtained in New Zealand.
