VANCOUVER, November d - Vilhjalmur Stefansson, the Canadian Arctic explorer, reports the discovery of new land in 78 degrees'north latitude, 116 degrees west longitude. (The position given is in a wide stretch of the Arctic Ocean marked “unexplored,” north' of the Parry Islands and north-east of Prince Patrick Island, where the Stefansson expedition has already made discoveries.)
