CRICKET.
CHRIST'S COLLEGE v. BOYS" HIGS SCHOOL. Tho First Grade competition match between Christ's College and Boys' High School which was started on October '26, but, owing to rain, could not bo continued on tho following Saturday, was concluded on Wednesday afternoon at Hagley Fork, in excellent cricket weather and on a good ■wicket.
Christ's College lied si load of 93 runs in tho first innings. Hi«h School's second innings started well, xh» first two wickets producing IG3 runs, but after that a "rot" set in, and i'ho jiinin;r9 was finished at 220, leaving 1 Christ's College to get 123 runs to win. College got thoni at a cost of two ■wickets, i-.rtd so scored a Uirsa-pouit win. The scores are an follow: —
