Commander Armstrong, in charge of recruiting for "the naval auxiliary patrol, -will leave here for a'South lslanoUtour on Wednesday. He will be in Christohurch on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, going on to Dunedin, where he will arrive.on Monday evening October 23. Invercargill will be visited later, and he will go to Greymouth, Nelson and Picton. if time permits, otherwise West Coast candidates will be asked to come to Wellington for. personal interview. AB-tho time of the Naval Recruiting Committee in New Zealand is limited, it. will ha, impossible to interview any applicants who 1 have failed to send application to Wellington, so -that appointment can be. made for a personal interview when.
